2007 was the most successful year for ALICO Bulgaria so far. The top line has grown by 50%, while the new production has increased by 75%. ALICO Bulgaria is also the fastest growing insurance company in Bulgaria in real market terms.

Simultaneously the Joint Venture with NBG group – UBB-ALICO Bulgaria – has exceeded 5 million leva of production, which is a phenomenal result for 1-year-old Insurance Company in Bulgaria.

On the Agency side, which is the cornerstone of ALICO Bulgaria distribution, there has been 18% growth for 2007.

In parallel, the Group production has been increased in both Employee Benefits and Financial Institutions by 80% and 140% respectively making ALICO Bulgaria one of the most important and fast developing players on the market.

The above results have been successfully supported by the administration, which has addressed all challenges with increased degree of professionalism and productivity, contributing to outperform all financial benchmarks.
